EmpowerED Media Scholarship Program

The EmpowerED Media Scholarship Program provides reduced-rate digital services to organizations that align with our mission of digital empowerment and community upliftment.

This scholarship is designed to support nonprofits, small businesses, and community-focused entities dedicated to making a positive impact. Organizations awarded the scholarship can access high-quality digital services at affordable rates, enabling them to enhance their outreach, engage their communities, and further their missions.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Eligibility

    • Eligible applicants must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, small business, or community-focused entity. Nonprofits should demonstrate a clear mission to serve the public good, while small businesses and other entities must have a community-oriented mission that directly benefits local populations, particularly underserved groups. Organizations should outline how their work supports community growth, digital literacy, or inclusivity.

  2. Alignment with EmpowerED Media’s Mission

    • Applicants must demonstrate alignment with EmpowerED Media’s values, including advancing digital literacy, fostering digital access, or providing community empowerment initiatives.

  3. Demonstrated Financial Need

    • Applicants are required to show limited financial resources, explaining why scholarship support is essential to their continued operation or mission-driven work.

  4. Geographic Preference

    • Preference is given to organizations serving Memphis, TN, and nearby communities. Organizations outside this region may still apply but are considered based on available resources and mission alignment.

  5. Application and Documentation

    • All applicants must complete the application form, accurately detailing their mission, services requested, and the anticipated impact of EmpowerED Media’s support. Applicants may be asked to provide documentation proving nonprofit status or community focus.

  6. Service Scope and Availability

    • Acceptance into the scholarship program is at the discretion of EmpowerED Media. Approved organizations will receive a detailed service plan, with offerings based on available resources and capacity.

  7. Service Usage Restrictions

    • Digital services provided under this scholarship are for the sole use of advancing the recipient’s stated mission. Any misuse or redirection of services for purposes unrelated to the mission may result in termination of the scholarship.

  8. Periodic Review and Renewal

    • Scholarships may be subject to periodic review to ensure terms are being met. Continued eligibility may require updated documentation or additional information on how the services are used.

  9. Right to Terminate

    • EmpowerED Media reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship if the recipient is found in violation of any terms or fails to align with the program’s purpose.
